The main aim of this project is to re-engage us all with the things we see everyday.
When we were kids we use to see amazing things…this projects asks us to go back to that imagination, and show everyone what we see in the world around us.
The more personal meaning of the project is about our concepts of reality. My father suffered from Parkinson’s disease for many years before he passed away. During his final years he developed Parkinson’s dementia, he began seeing things which were not visible to us, yet they were so real to him, he could see these things, smell them, even touch and feel them.
This made me think about what our concepts of reality are and what we choose to actually see.
So what do you need to do?
• Open your eyes and mind and really look at all the things you walk past everyday, what do you see?
• Take a photo of what you saw
• Manipulate it however you can to make it look like what you saw
• Submit it here, make sure you tell the story of what you saw in the description for the photo
Will be great to see what you saw
